Chairman of the Board
Yaron Eitan is a Managing Director at CNTP. He has over 25 years of experience acquiring, building, and exiting businesses, bringing both financial and operational business expertise to the team.
In addition to being the Founder and Managing Partner of Selway Capital, Mr. Eitan serves as a Partner of SCP Partners, a private equity investment firm with multiple funds under management. SCP Partners specializes in the telecommunications, Information Technology media, defense and security, and education industries.
Previously, Mr. Eitan was the Co-Founder of Reshef Technologies, a specialty munitions company, the President of Patlex, an industrial and patent enforcement holding company, and the Founder and CEO of Geotek Communications, a wireless communications company. Geotek pioneered the introduction of advance data and location based services over wireless networks using proprietary high capacity wireless technology previously developed for military applications. Geotek operated wireless networks in the US, Uk, Germany and Korea.
In 1998, Mr. Eitan founded Selway Partners, a technology-sector holding company. Selway Partners was sold to SCP Partners in 2002, at which time Mr. Eitan became one of the partners of SCP Partners. In April 2007, Mr. Eitan launched Vector Intersect Security Acquisition Corporation, a special purpose acquisition company, which acquired Cyalume Technologies Holdings, Inc. in December 2008. Mr. Eitan is a Vice Chairman at Cyalume Technologies and Chairman of the Board at DVTel Inc, Software Technology, Inc., Magnolia Broadband, GenePeeks, and CardSpark. He acted as President and CEO of Selway Capital Acquisition Corporation, a publicly-traded vehicle which acquired Healthcare Corporation of America in April 2013.
Mr. Eitan served in the Israeli Defense Forces for six years as an infantry officer where he reached the rank of Major. He received his bachelor’s degree in economics from Haifa University and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
Andrew Intrater has been Chief Executive Officer of Columbus Nova, a multi-strategy investment firm, since January 2000 and is also a Managing Director at Columbus Nova Technology Partners, a global, multi-stage, technology investment firm operating out of Silicon Valley and New York. He has over 25 years of general management and transaction experience obtained from leadership roles in the technology and asset management sectors, as well as over 20 years of service on the boards of directors of public companies. In addition to ISCON, he also serves on the boards of CIFC Capital Corp and Cyalume Technologies Inc.
Through the acquisition of Deerfield Capital Corp and subsequent merger of Deerfield with Commercial Industry Finance Corp, he helped grow Columbus Nova’s CLO asset management platform from $2 billion of assets under management in 2007 into one of the largest, leading CLO asset managers with over $15 billion of assets under management. His international transaction experience includes a $51-million equity/debt investment in 2005 for a controlling stake in MOCC (Moscow Cablecom Corp - today known as AKADO), a Moscow-based broadband MSO.
He is a former director and current Member of the Executive Board of Renova Management, a global leader in energy, base metals and mining industries.
In 1985 he founded ATI, the predecessor of Oryx Technology Corp. He served Oryx as President and Chief Operating Officer until 1999 as it grew into a leading manufacturer of semiconductor test equipment. He led its 1994 IPO and oversaw two strategic acquisitions, including the purchase of Zenith’s power converter division.
He holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Rutgers University and performed graduate studies in Materials Science at Columbia University.
Mr. Stern is the President and CEO of DVTEL and since February 2011, a member of its Board of Directors. He is an investor and has served in an executive capacity in a variety of high-tech companies. He has 20 years of management experience as President, CEO and/or Executive Chairman and has worked with large international corporations and investment firms in the Homeland Security industry including tenure as President and CEO of a $70M multi-national company. Since 1997, Yoav has been Co-Chairman and one of four main shareholders of Bogen Communication International Inc. He has served as the Executive Chairman of the Board of Kellstrom LLC, a $200M aviation supply chain management company where he remains a shareholder today.
Previously, Yoav was a Founding and Managing Partner of Helix Capital, a private M and A and turnaround advisory firm. He was the President, COO and Director of WordStar International, Inc., a $50M publicly traded software company. He has also held the position of VP Business Development of a multinational industrial investment holding company. Yoav spent 10 years full time and 20 years in reserve services in the Air Force, where he was a Deputy Commander of an F-15 squadron and involved in the management and operations of highly advanced avionics and aerospace technologies.
Yoav has a Practical Engineering Diploma in Mechanics and Automation and a B.Sc. Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science with Distinction. He is a graduate of the Air Force Academy and graduate of the Air Force Flying Instructors’ course with Distinction.
