Correctional Facilities

Iscon’s Advanced Imaging Technology system is designed with the diverse and flexible requirements of correction facilities and courthouses. In a single integrated system, the Iscon technology can detect virtually all types of contraband, and at the same time, has the capability to provide 100% verification of personnel identity.

The system uses thermo conductive infrared imaging technology, which can quickly produce high-resolution images of a whole body, or areas that are suspected to be concealing.

This highly reliable technology system can practically eliminate smuggling and trafficking of items hidden under clothing – two of the biggest security threats facing correction facilities and law enforcement today. Concealed objects including paper, tobacco, pills and powder as well as thin plastics, and small metal objects are detected with these easy-to-operate systems.

In as little as 30 seconds, the system produces a high-resolution thermal imprint of any kind of material. Because it doesn’t use X-ray scanning, the system is radiation-free so prisoners, visitors and other personnel that need to be inspected are not subject to harmful rays.

The Iscon system is available in three different configurations and can be used together or separately for whole body and close inspection.
